Fishers Lagoon/ Night Fishing the river/ Video

Post by BassHound905 »

Our annual trip we take every March. Unusually warm this year. So much that we abandoned the idea of camping.Spring break partying in full go. As far as the fishing....man it was rough. I only managed 3...wife had 3... nephew had 1 and one monster caught released at the dock and that was it. All on plastics( robo's and brush hogs). Carp were all over the dock areas. Regardless..super fun.

Spent many an all-nighter there over the years. One session we had Stealth Bombers do strafing runs out over the desert and then zoom right over us out on the Lake in Float Tubes. Another two month run got us into a Double Digit Bass on 7 straight trips. Put a lot of miles on the Truck, running from Anaheim every weekend. Setting the Hook with 65 Braid and having Flatheads the size of Small Dolphins run you out into the sunken trees. There is no stopping them! Just an amazing fishery.

That was a well put together video=D Thanks for sharing!

I have had some summer nights out there that were just so much fun. I remember fishing the at night in the lights at Martinez Lake dock and launch ramp with Don Iovino Splash-its getting them on topwater while the bass were chasing shad out to the water.
