Fished with 2 friends again, solid 2 hours of daylight this time. Fishing very slow till sundown. Brown rockfish were biting, a few small calico. Highlight of my night was a decent sculpin on a craw bait.Beautiful evening and perfect weather for spotting birds on baitballs out at the point, no such luck this time.

Good that you managed to catch there for the evening bite. It has been getting hit up pretty hard lately even by free divers with spear guns. I know I didn't hook as many halibut there as I normally do and the bass bite was non-existent which was entirely strange since I can normally catch at least a dozen calico's and spotties

Yeah we were surprised by the lack of bass. Do you prefer the inside or outside of the jetty? I have a raft with basically zero draft so we drifted right over the top several times.
