What has been your favorite lure of 2025, either the one most liked or even a new discovery? You guys had some good inputs last year at viewtopic.php?t=3172&hilit=favorite+2024 , what is it this year?
I have been liking swinging or wobble jigheads. For the weight, I use either a round style like https://www.amazon.com/Cuoyuqie-30pcs-C ... r=8-4&th=1 or a tapered style like https://www.amazon.com/Dovesun-30Pcs-Fi ... r=8-6&th=1 depending on whether I want more action or easier going thru the grass. I pair it with a light wire EWG offset hook. Any soft plastic can be used with it although I have been using curly tail grubs and TPE Ned baits so far for spotted bay bass. I expect it to work well this summer at Barrett too. I also use https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Rapid_F ... APIDH.html to keep the bait from sliding down the hook.

Re: Favorite lure of 2025?
After a few years of refusing to jig a minnow, 2025 I decided to learn the process. I tried various minnow style baits, jig heads and retrieves.
I was very successful most of the year and got to admit, doubled even tripled my catch counts.
Seemed as though the fish were starting to see it too much at times and had to revert back to cranking/jerking and even drop shot at times.
Since fall, bass fishing has slowed down for me, thought I'd go get on some trout til spring but honestly haven't due to the banks lined up for them. Kinda ridiculous at some lakes.
2nd favorite has to be the popper this summer, it slayed, got some nice quality bass early morning and late evening on it. Love the blow up bites, cant beat it imo.

So what is your favorite rigging? Wacky, Texas rig weightless, with weight, jig worm, Tokyo.....?VinnyBass wrote: Wed Dec 24, 2025 1:44 pm The Favorite Lure in 2025 and several years now for me was the Tackle Warehouse Website...luring me to buy

Junebug still your favorite color? 5" size?
Last few years, I mostly fished Barrett with Ned and drop shot. But there was so much of that snotty moss this year in midsummer, I switched to weightless Texas rigged Senko, usually 5" size and shad color. Haven't found anything else that works as well as that in the moss.

Neko rigged Senkos did a nice job for me this year in purple shades as far as color and the Junebug was the best color for the Brush Hog which I mostly fished with a Texas rig. The double tail Texas rigged Hula Grub in June bug was good also!Gotfish? wrote: Wed Dec 24, 2025 3:30 pmSo what is your favorite rigging?
