Mission Beach 12/18

Post by GHred120 »

First time out in the surf in about four years and it was productive one. Fished from 7 to 9am, conditions were calm. Some salad in the water but stuck it out with the Carolina rig. Was able to get four good ones all about 9 inches and a baby halibut. A ton of bites and all in all, 👍

Nice way to make a comeback! I still have yet to catch a halibut in the surf, but this post is my way of putting that out there into the universe...

I’ve used them and caught 9 perch one cast after another no halibut’s.
You could try Dana bait and tackle I think that’s where I got them, because they’re Z-Man they last forever, caught my perch on one bait.
