Need to Get My 14 Y/O an LMB tomorrow! Help!

Hello fellow anglers! I’m kinda desperate to get my son on a LMB. He’s a beginner and has only caught one dink at Barrett last season when I brought him once. He’s almost over the sport bc he has hard time finding them. Any certain spot any of you can suggest at Barret that I can bring him to get on a couple of LMBs?? He prefers to throw swim baits but can use drop shot if need be. ANY Help would be appreciated! Trying to keep him in the game!

Senkos, yum dingers with worm hook rigged weedless.
If the wind picks up, put a split shot a foot up the line.
Watermelon red flake. Orange black flake. June bug
If you want an even more guaranteed bite, fish the 4” smaller senko. You can still catch big fish in the small senkos. 8-10lb test

Fish around the brush and structure. If fish start boiling on Shad, cast your senko to the boils.

That worm is a guarantee at Barrett.

Directly north from pigs. This whole shoreline is good.there are a few secondary points that go way out in the water after the rock bluff. Fish like this area for ambush.

If you launch from the boat dock area, these areas are really good. I mean honestly, every part of the shore is catchable.where that island is, is a great spot especially the long point above it which is all under water

Start fishing right off Pigs Point throw at the green bushes we caught bass both up tight and about 4 to 8 feet off. Senko Fat Ika Underspins worked today. Also talked to some guys who stroked em on the drop shot. Good luck.

My son didn’t skunk! He caught 2 LMBs and lost a few, but he was happy! Both fish were 2-2.5lb each, so good fights all the way to the net! First one was caught on a White Jack Hammer Chatter Bait with a Googan 3.8 white paddle tail for the trailer. The second one was DS with chartreuse Morning Dawn 6” Robo. Thanks to all who helped! I caught 16 btw, so he was a little bummed that he caught 2, but that’s part of the learning process!

Try spinner bait next to trees… or ARig is slot of fun . Getting some weed less creatures baits next to structure is good to get some not to little plastics not to small like 2 inches or 2 1/2 3 like the Ika is perfect .. good luck bro .. chek video at @jc153fishing in YouTube
