Rod suggestions
So I got a $300 amazon gift card for being such an exemplary employee, (heehee) and after using it for Christmas gifts for my son and GF, I had a little extra left and thought I deserved a little something for myself. I ordered an Okuma Avenger ABF-4000 saltwater spinning reel. I have no idea if it's a good reel, or if it's suitable for the kind of fishing I do, which is mostly fishing the bays from shore or docks for whatever I can scratch out. I just wanted to use up the last of my gift card. What might be a suitable rod to pair this reel with? It seems like a bargain basement reel with a $58 price. But, like I said, just needed to use that card lol. Any suggestions are very appreciated!

Re: Rod suggestions
Well I got a nice deal on a Daiwa Tatula TTU731MXS at SDTackletraders. So far I'm loving it and the guys there are really awesome! I love the action and strength, I have more casting distance with it, and the braid sings a beautiful song when I'm horsing up the spotties I already started catching with it! Drop shot gulp Sandworms are a cheat code lately.
