These aren’t Padre fans, just baseball fans speaking facts. If the clear fits just wear it
Would you say that Will Smith is the best overall catcher in baseball?

What's your opinion on Manny Machado? Fernando Tatis?

I’m not in love with manny. I just know that that “dirty” and “lazy” stuff is old, and just tells me people aren’t watching every game. The guy has absolutely mastered how to “post”, and knows the best ability is availability. I just saw someone on the Jays slow jog to first on a grounder, in the World Series. I’ve never seen manny run that slow once. The guy makes amazing plays, and has gotten shafted multiple times because he makes the same plays arenado makes, but he does does it so casual. Arenado’s Try-Hard shows more because he’s a high strung guy and they vote for him. I love Tatis, but something has seemed off with him. He really improved on his chase this year, until the playoffs. Smith’s a great catcher, but most are. He and the other ancillary players like the leprechaun (can’t stand him the most) benefit from a lot of protection. I’ve grown to be a fan of Kike after listening to him talk on a podcast. I don’t “hate” them all, I just fan like a fan should and they are to be “hated”. Just don’t like a few of them and mostly Dave Roberts

But I’ve said many times, even if the Padres were able to spend like the Dodgers, and they began to just stomp people year after year, yes that would get old even for a homer. It should honestly just feel dirty. Can’t honestly say as a Dodger fan right now that your team would even be where they are, losing game 5 about to head to Toroonto, without that one guy. It’s literally been all him

Cal Raleigh and Alejandro Kirk are better than Will Smith. Both great offensively but are way better defensive catchers than Will Smith. I am a big Will Smith fan, but I do watch a lot of baseball.

Aske me why it’s permanently etched into my brain that Davis Schneider was a 6th round draft pick who spent 9 years in the minors. Joe Davis’ bias towards the Dodgers is literally dangling out of his slacks onto the floor. The dude’s excited voice comes out with any contact the dodgers make. Honestly, listen to his comments regarding the Jays players/play, he does nothing but downplay anything they do, or act as if it’s come out of nowhere from some average joes. He’s talked about numerous Jays and repeated the length of time they’ve spent in the minors. I haven’t really heard much about the trash that Max Leprechaun was in Oakland before he slid in between some superstars in LA and found something. Crickets on that one. When Don Orsillo goes #2, a Joe Davis comes out
