I’m glad your trek out here was rewarded with some fish. Just an FYI, that is a yellow fin croaker and not a corbina. Both part of the same family and easy to mix up at that size.

Love the creek bass from AZ pics, also. I’m always caught off guard with some of the fishing opportunities in AZ as I always just think of desert locales.

Good eye, it was almost dark and I just told myself it was a corbina. I have only caught one bean, so my ID isn’t perfect yet. Those creek bass are Redeye bass from Georgia originally, somehow got to AZ back in the day and made themselves at home in some of the streams near Sedona.
