Torrance Beach 22 Sept 2025

Post by Mike M »

I made a few long casts with hard shells and found a couple of croaker. Then I found some soft shells and it was fun times catching corbina in close.

So awesome! The fishing at South Torrance and RAT has been amazing lately. That's where I grew up and it's common for the water in that corner of the South Bay to stay warmer there in the Fall, as water cools off elsewhere. Over the last three weeks I've had reports of bonito, halibut, corbina, striper, perch and more caught there...many of which were on Krocodiles, Kastmasters, etc. Last night, I actually had a dream about fishing there. :)
