Hodges with Trailered Kayak

Post by stix_tv »

Of course I am going to wheel my kayak down to the lake off the trailer, but anyone else take a trailered kayak to hodges?

I have, parked on the right side near top of ramp, lady in tackle shop said it was okay.
Probably want beach sand type wheels. I have the boonedox wheels and they were digging into the dirt next to the launch ramp. I had to unload most of my kayak to get it to pull up the hill, pita.
Definitely doable but can be worrisome parking at the dock with respect for those who park down there and the fire lanes.

Thanks for the great reply.. Yeah that was my worry - I have the Native branded boonedox, probably leave the TitanX at home and go rooftop Outback/Lynx instead.
