Hodges 3rd Wed.
Rats! Lake Hodges is closed the 3rd Wednesday of the month. Posted on the gate but not on the website. Time for plan B. Anyone have a Plan B?

Ended up at Miramar. Was a tough day. Didn’t even get a bite. Of all the guys i talked to on the water, only one landed a fish. Made me feel a little better thinking everyone had the same struggles. Then as i’m leaving, a shore pounder asks me about my day. Goes on to tell me he did “OK” landing a couple 5 pounders. Thought it was BS….then he showed me the pics. Looks like i’ll have to try again.

Miramar and Murray are similar..if you know you know, if not, they can be tough! Experience on those lakes helps alot!
