Yuck.. I was hoping to catch and eat some fish in the bay, but apparently the water quality is even worse than previously thought, which wasn’t good to begin with..
I guess I’m not eating any bay fish..

This water quality issue is also just not localized to the SD Bays.
Unless I'm offshore, I don't really do the 'keep and cook.' If I want fish, I'll head to the local fresh fish market, and if I'm feeling like a Rockefeller, perhaps a nice restaurant.
A better ROI plus you won't get worms.

For me nothing south of La Jolla. Honestly I hate cleaning fish so I’m almost always C&R unless there’s a cleaning service

I still like going out there to fish for fun, but I wouldn’t eat anything from the bay. If you just want fresh fish to cook, way safer to grab some from a local market.
