2026 Barrett poll/ideas?

I had a great meeting with the City yesterday. A lot was discussed. Understand that the program at Barrett is truly unique to both hunters and fisherman. They want our input on what we like or dislike about it. The poll below is a question that was asked to me. After thinking about it I thought input from the Junkies is best. As was pointed out we have plenty of time to react. I brought up the topic of Ticketmaster. The City is building its own platform to sell reservations/tickets for ALL the lakes, and to remove the iron rangers(and Ticketmaster). This idea is a good one I think, but it will take time. They are also going to purchase all new 16' boats for Barrett. And yes I requested that they scrape the road(maybe more on a regular basis).
The poll question is:
Would we like the season tickets ALL sold in April? Yes there will be limits as to what can be sold to individuals, lots of details to be worked out.

No I prefer the monthly. I never know my schedule 5 months in advance. I should also clarify that I am a Boat guy. The demand for boats is so high now I feel like it would limit the number of days I fish.

I think the monthly way is best for the same reason mentioned already.

I prefer doing what happened in July (August and Sept) selling the tickets for two months at a time instead of having to try monthly.

We already know our work schedules and personal days off and what weekends are good in those two months but that’s just us (4-6 fellows and gal).

I'd think monthly is better for most people. I'd think it might be better to leave it all alone, since every time the city gets involved, we seem to have issues.

For me... Tickets 1 or 2 months in advance is fine..

Two months at a time and go back to 20 or 25 boat reservations. Covid is over.

Of the new 16’ boats, do you know if it’s just for 15 of them or more?

I can see them spending for 15 of them and keeping the other older ones as standby’s or spares if it means saving the cost for more than 15 boats and at the same time, put in some newer outboards but I’d be happy with just having the longer length boats.

No. I prefer monthly. Very difficult to get my fishing buddies all on the same schedule as is. Ha!
