Minnesota Chunks
Couple nice four pound plus LMB chunks from Pelican Lake, Minnesota. Only disappointment of the trip is the lack of nice smallies that we got in previous years. Had a lot of fun the last two evenings on topwater action with the rat and the grasshopper.

Man those Bass come out of their Winter funk and feed hard! So do the Pike and Muskies. So much fun….so many mosquitoes! I lived on Coffee and Benedryl. They seemed to suck the DEET right of my arms.

Re: Minnesota Chunks
Those Northerns look fantastic! Thanks for the report.
I've always wanted to make a trip in that region to target those big smallies, but have zero problems throwing a frog to get them chunky Northerns.

Re: Minnesota Chunks
Glad you’re having a lot of fun out there.
Now just apply it to the San Diego Lakes.
Tight lines always buddy
