6-11-25 first trip of the season, Barrett did not disappoint

First time this season, we’ve been able to get out. The lake was beautiful, nice and full and it is in great condition. Our morning popper bite never materialized and we went straight to Fishing plastics and got on a senko bite that just hammered them. We had 40 fish by 10 all of them nice grade. We’re down in Hauser and a guy comes by on a float tube, throwing the whopper plopper getting hammered on the submerged trees in Hauser. We took the hint and started throwing whopper ploppers, and did that until the Day ended for us at about two. We stopped counting at 50 and it was all quality clean Fish very few dinks. You could tell these Fish recently spawned and they are just getting back to feeding as they were big but skinny. Can’t wait to get out there again. Thank you, Jose and Laurie. You guys were great. We are very fortunate to have this fishing in our backyard.
