Mid-week Hodges

Post by tomnilll »

Tried a quick stop on a Wednesday afternoon and it was fun! Got the first one on the whopper plopper...giant blow up...super fun with an audience too. Got 3 more...2 more top water and 1 big miss and followed by a couple worm fish...

Nice Hodges and Otay was my two favorite lakes when I was able to fish every Wednesday going back and forth back in the eighties.
Then kids came and wasn’t able fish very often you know how that goes probably.
We loved down by the Dam from shore were you fishing down that arm or the other to the left arm?
Thanks for refreshing the memories

I was on the Dam side...but not that far down. I almost never get there on Wednesday, more of a weekender. (more coming soon from Saturday...)
