Fished yesterday solo. Caught a handful of bass. At 11 I hooked a better fish, felt like a halibut. Turned out to be my first ever butterfly ray. The wind was really gusting after lunch. I got my butt handed to me on the way in, roughest trip back I can remember in the bay. I didn’t have any passengers to keep the bow down in the wind. It was bouncing so bad the aluminum floorboard in my raft got bent. Felt like I was in a washing machine. Tweaked my back too, it was gnarly.
