El Cap Friday
Decent size Friday crowd on yet another cooler, breezier Late May day. WTH is the warmer weather? Anyway for the 3rd straight Cap trip, I caught a fish on my first cast. I can’t say that’s ever happened before. And then after thinking it will be WFO, it turns out to be anything but and just a slow pick. But we did pull out 8 by 8 and got out early to our jobs. White spinnerbaits and reapers worked for us today.

LOL…when you are old, you are Old School! Its our go-to when the bite is finicky. Its usually salt and pepper but a few trips back when hologram shad worms were the ticket at the V, I dug out a reaper version that was s&p with a whitish strip on the bottom. Sho nuff it got bit. Angler’s Arsenal calls it leopard shad and they poured me a new batch
