Don’t force any nut or bolt. Look it up on you tube or find manuals first or let a pro do it

Here's a link to a video showing disassembly. As inthedeep2 said, counterclockwise to loosen. Make sure you have the correct wrench size and better to use a nut driver, or socket. Try soaking in penetrating oil, or WD-40. You could also try "carefully" using a heat gun to cause thermal expansion which may break the stuck spot.

Re: Okuma Komodo help.
I’m not sure if we are in the same page but I’m talking only knob cap. To be confused even more my Daiwa zillion HD which use similar knob cap style but turn clockwise to loosen, why I wanna make sure. I guess Daiwa think turn other way prevent cap loosen itself while spin the handle? Anyway my cap is busted now gonna have to try to get it out without damaging the knob.

Re: Okuma Komodo help.
Since the left handed Okuma Komodo KDS-463PLX has the same handle part number as the right handed Okuma Komodo KDS-463P it is reasonable to conclude that the screw threads are the same and right handed. There is probably blue Loctite on the threads to keep them for unwinding on right handed reels.

Same argument for Komodo 364 right and left hand models.

One more thing... the Tailwalk website handles do not differentiate between right and left hand.
