Looking for fishing help/lessons

Post by grasswoman »

I have recently moved to San Diego. I want to learn to fish, but I know almost nothing. I am looking for lessons to learn the basics. I am a member of Freedom Boat CLub so I have access to boats. I am not looking for just a charter, but someone who would actually be able to teach me how to fish independently. I am not looking to be the next great thing, just want to be able to go out on my own and enjoy myself locally. Does anyone know of anyone who does this?!?!?!!

What kind of fish are you trying to target or are you just looking to catch whatever you can for fun?

If its the basics you want to learn I can probably help. I fish local lakes from my boat for bass. In the harbors for spotties, halibut and such and also in the surf for mostly halibut. You can tag along with me when i go just need a little notice so pm me. And tell me what kind of fishing you'd like to learn.
