LJ: Bait, Birds, Less Fish

Post by mcquade outdoors »

Fished LJ last weekend and i should have gone spearfishing. Water was super clear and loaded with bait, birds and dolphins. I didnt fish the shallows, but instead fished around the outside bait balls. No fish came near the surface, all came on the bottom in the 75-120' range. All fish came on a 1/2oz jig head and a 4" zman white fluke.

Great job and thanks for the post. Seriously calm and clear waters. Love the dolphin shots too!
