Typical shopping experience...over and over....

Mfr chat: "Sure, the XXL will fit you just fine."

Me when the item shows up: "Do you really thing someone with a 52 inch chest has a 4 inch neck?"

Even when I was a skinny kid I had a big square head and a thick neck to hold it up.

Now, neither kid nor skinny, I am looking for a shell that I can use for float tubing and kayaking (maybe).

Any suggestions?

A hooded jacket with a zipper will have a looser neck than otherwise.

You might have to break down and go to a brick and mortar store and try on clothes. I know you like Walmart for fishing gear, maybe time to try other departments.
