Caught off the surf at Redondo, using the Chika Chika pattern Lucky Craft. 20lb braid on a Penn Fierce III, 9'0 Okuma Hawaiian Custom.
I cast into a noticeable rip current and was quickly bit by this 26"er. I kept casting into the school in hopes of landing another. Hooked up twice more, but both shook the lure.
What a strong fish, and I'm so stoked that we have this opportunity in the South Bay.

Re: Redondo Beach striper 9.29
That is a nice fish. Congrats!!
I hope it's a prelude to more big stripers to come for us in the South Bay.
Good luck, hope to meet you on the sand soon.
