Crappie Time of Year
I
t's been tough trying to catch those elusive Crappie this Spring. With the inconsistent weather and all of the lakes filling up its been a battle. Plus Mother Nature has been know to put the best laid plans of a fisherman to sleep. So I made the 9 hr trek up North to Clear Lake. One of the best Crappie Lakes in the US. Could not catch any during the day. All of these were caught at night from 2AM-5:30AM.

Hodges reopens on May 31 2023. I wonder if it's to late to catch some slabs?
