So me and the son went out on saturday hoping for a great TW bite in hauser, 1st trip of 2024.

TW really didnt materialize as hoped, when it did, it consisted mainly of dinks.

I saw a guy throwing an a-rig that got bit a lot, but what i saw were mostly dinks.

When tw wasnt on, we got them throwing underspins, flukes, smaller baits.

We probably caught 60+ throwing a BFS set-up, shimano mcbeth 39 in chartruese belly/blue back. It was crazy stupid how many would clobber the crank & to see 4-8 followers too.

pine had a bunch of dinks as well, never located clean bottom when throwing the jig or worm there.

Throwing a grn pumkin jig got the better fish for me, 3.5 lb + several 3's. My sons best was a 3.7 on a fluke. lost / pop'd off several that were larger, but thats fishing.
