Olivehain resoivoir-want to get as much info as possible.

Post by Bryce »

I want to know everything about this lake, there is very little info I could find probably because no one fishes it ๐Ÿ˜‚. I heard itโ€™s a 8 mile hike but I would hike double that for good fishing. I hear it has tank bass and have seen some 9lbs be caught also here it has striped bass, wondering if there is any legal way to fish it since it is super easy access for game wardens. If any one has experience or any info please lmk. Thank you ๐Ÿ™.

Good luck on your excursion! There used (I'm sure they're still there) to be cameras up there that are monitored, as it was the case a few years ago. If you plan to ninja fish it, bring cheap gear and be prepared to leave without it if you get caught and a nice trespassing ticket.

Report back and let us know how it worked out for you.

The ironical part is that someone, somewhere, wouldn't support fishing because of water contact concerns and the shoreline trash. But people are still gonna sneak in and fish, and some will trash the shoreline.

There's also the liability issue. If they allow fishing, some knucklehead will get hurt or kilt and his family will sue someone...
