Got out to the water around 5ish, this morning was a little off it was chilly, and windy had to throw the jacket on till about 7ish ,on the way to meet early release i threw the lizard around and hook 1 and mis a few bites once we meet up we search for some buster but ended up sailing around the shoreline and pick up fish here and there... i couldnt find a pattern i got one on a white 6in worm then nothing even throwing it at buster they didnt take the worms, GM 6in black and blue worm got a couple. Throw the swimbaits around with no success, threw the crankbait and starting picking up fish a bite faster.. Once the sun came up we started to pick up fish... Busters where all over however if you didnt hit them literally on top of the head they wouldnt hit the lure, one thing i enjoy watching is
@Early release work that popper...I keep telling him to change his name to POPPIN DAVE cause the way he works the popper is amazing
We ended up spotting a small pack of deer with was a first for me at barrett.... ended the day around noon with about 20plus fish mostly all dinks and clones nothing over 2lbs nothing under 1lbs for me this trip .... still super fun to be breathing in barrett air...
