I’d like to know a little bit more about the red tide and how long will the red tide last?
Is there a site that I can check that is up to date?
I fish mostly fish from shore on the bay, starting to get into surf fishing, I’m going to try Lake Murray this coming week, I’ll be going early morning hoping there might be a top water bite?
I remember Vinniebass being on SDFISH and recall several others, camobass, perch killer and others.
I haven’t seen any posts from werthless, and it seems there’s not many posts like before, there were a lot of post and I learned a lot lot,
So thank you all that helped in the past.
You might remember me I had lots of question, and I haven’t changed.
I’m so stoked that I can start my fishing back up.
Finally back to fishing and this site

Re: Finally back to fishing and this site
I too mostly fish the bays because I hate paying lake fees, and it’s more fun for me! The red tide in SD bay hasn’t been terrible, I’ve still pulled out some nice fish lately. I use Tidecharts, which is so-so. Some of the members you mentioned are back on this new site. I remember being away for a while, and when I came back, the site was nuked. I actually found out about the new site from an instagram account and immediately signed back up. Definitely not what it was like before but I’m trying to be more active here, do a lot more fishing, I don’t gatekeep spots because I want to share and grow my knowledge and experience, which isn’t much at all, and learn from others! Hopefully I’ll run into some members someday when I’m out. We can all help the new site grow and focus on what it’s supposed to be about, FISHING!
