More Fly Fishing for Carp

Post by Joshmo62 »

Took the kayak out this time and fished the flats of a local lake. I have my stripping basket on an h-bar so I was able to sight fish effectively… and was super fun until the wind picked up. Got a couple carp and a catfish. Was fishing the flies below which are a Montana hybrid and a loco moco fly.

Nice, I've always wanted to sight fish from a craft. Hmmm... kayak, so not Henshaw?
