1st time at Clearlake

Post by tomnilll »

Well...I was super excited to go to the giant bass mecca in Nor-Cal and was not disappointed (mostly, more later...) Went with my little brother and we both got fish the first day on a boat (cant remember the guide's name...my brother booked him) But here are a couple examples, sorry this time I will not be showing any of the dinks (there were some...) My main disappointment comes from my brother catching the big fish at 6lbs6oz...but i did eventually come roaring back with a few over 5lbs...and then I dropped my phone in the lake  oh well at least some of the pics were backed up.

Oh yeah… reward if found. Depart Tower Park Marina (little potato slough) head north and turn left on S Mokelumne slough. It’s 100 yards on left in 8 to 12 foot of water, depending on the tide, of course. While you’re there I’d throw the buzz bait. :-)
