While fishing for bass at Lake Murray, this cat decided my underspin looked like something good to eat. I wanted to get a
pic or two and get it back in the water. I should have took my time as it was not easy to hold up with one hand for a pic and
quickly glanced at the scale which my arm was shaking. I thought it was 12 but may have been 15lbs or so. I guess if it was
a bass, I would have paid more attention...ha ha
Anyway...hats off to you guys who fish for these beasts as it put up one heck of a fight and every second I thought my 8llb
fluoro line was going to snap.
Tight lines guys

Re: Murray Cat
I wish I was not in a rush to just take a couple pics of it and tried to focus on the weight. It was hard to hold up with one hand
and try to see the weight on my Boca grip scale, but as I mentioned above I quickly glanced and could of been 15lb or a few pounds
more. I caught an 11lb cat a few years back on a spoon at Murray and this was definitely bigger. I was using a light rod with 8lb fluorocarbon line and at least a handful of times thought the line would snap. I was pretty lucky.
