Sweets again 5/6

When back again same pattern. Fishing was very slow. Started off by catching a carp yay!
Carp for me is usually some bad luck so I moved to a different spot as far away as I could get from any visible carp action.

Still very slow as far as the bass action was concerned but the patience paid off and I ended up catching only two fish.

nice fish.

i threw jigs there all winter. i was fully prepared to fish jigs there for a whole year. I had the note book record going and everything. i bought tons of jig making stuff.

every week the water came up until i could no longer reach the clean bottom. im not into crawling jigs through bushes. ive been hitting the bays and other lakes. id rather drive 4 miles than 30 or 50 but alas…

if i ever get this jig kick out of my system i will join you at sweeb.

the other day at morena, i took a break from bassin and gave the carp a go. i got 7 big ones(24-27”) in an hour. it was like, “that was fun, back to getting laughed at by bass”
