Cold, soggy...worth it!

Post by Mcfish »

I should be use to this weather..the never ending winter! I'll start out by saying "Paul stole my fish"...! I started the day fishing that area, my secret spot, threw the same jerkbait as he did and when it didn't produce right off..I gave up on it! Ok, my mistake, but that fish had my name on it..hahaha! Fortunately I have a couple other spots on my not so secret list. After throwing a popper, jerkbait, and fluke for an hour and nothing to show for it, I went for flylining 4" senkos..Bingo! 24 fish, 1 1/2 to 4lbs, nothing under 14". Very different from 2 weeks ago when the 10" fish were more the norm. April is always my favorite month to fish! Congrats to Fisheromen on a beautiful fish!

Not that I am a betting man all the time, but knowing McFish and his tricks using roboworms, It would be safe for me
to bet you that he bit the head off on many of those senkos to make them 3" or less.
Not that there is anything wrong with biting the heads off of worms. :-)

With your blood pressure, I suggest you not bite the heads off senkos...save the salt for your French fries....
