Got out on the lake at first light. Have to say the lake had the feel like something was going to happen. Spoiler alert, good day, but nothing epic. Did talk to someone who pulled a 6 pounder on a 10" senko. Water was 66F, wind calm, skies were alternating between scattered and broken.
Got a couple on the popper early, but couldn't get anything really going with it. The fish I caught were tight to the shore. Finally decided to try a little deeper, played with the jig, no takers and eventually picked up 8 more with a crankbait. All clones, big fish for me was 3 pounds 4 ounces. Got done by 1030 and water was up to 69F.

Update! After having some challenges both with recording and the video itself here is the video from that day! Great job Dave with the beautiful fish. His fish is right near the beginning of the video so you don't have to go too deep to see it. Cheers!
