Carpin’ at Lake Henshaw

Post by Joshmo62 »

Hit up lake Henshaw this morning for some fly fishing for carp which is one of my favorite yearly trips. The last few years there hasn’t been very many cloopers on the surface so I have been mostly nymphing using the drag and drop or dabbing techniques. Today the carp were not making them self visible so it was a game of me seeing them before they saw me type of thing. Caught a 7 lb one and missed three bites.. also caught 2 small bass. I will be back!!!
