Quick after work session at a local (to work) piece of urban water. They are starting to get more aggressive and not shy about choking down the stickbaits...can't remember having to use the pliers on more than the occasional fish...anyway...2 hours, 4 bites, 4 fish.

The wife got a couple extra days off this week so we headed up to Menifee, my little aluminum boat trailing us. Tuesday afternoon shift at Perris where I did pretty good in the spring a year ago. Fun jig bite at Otay today. I finished the morning with 11 fish total. Most were in the mid 2 lb range, with the best being a 3.2. I saw a bunch of males up on beds, but only one big female, and she wanted nothing to do with me.

All in all though it was a ton of fun!

How deep is the water at the edge of the tules?

@VinnyBass…That was a strange, but amazing, day to say the least. I wouldn’t say I was putting on a clinic. I got a lot of micro-bass. It wasn’t until I started following your lead that I started getting any size.
