Been having fun with the ghosts this spring. second photo fish just squeaked by 35”. 3 legals for me from shore this year.

Hit the south bay yesterday. Only a 2.9 foot tidal swing, but the fish bit ok. I got 25 spotties. Quality was good with a number of almost 14 inchers. Caught most of the fish in 5-8 feet of water on 1/4 oz jigs with shad tail plastics. Got a couple of corvina and one halibut in the mix also. 2 weeks...

Thanks Easy I figured it out after a bit as I went though those simple steps and the reason it did not work was because I was naming the file with hyphen,dashes, periods of something and after I renamed the pic something with out them....like just the word Bass....it worked. Hit the Valley for an even 43 last week on Friday. Mostly cats and carp with a bass or two thrown in. No idea if I can post pix or a link, some footage is up on my YouTube channel. Put the carp in my garden after peeling some meat for flathead bait.

I use the same reel on my 6 weight - Show up to Bay Park Fish on Saturday and I'll tie up some for you! We'll be there from 11am to 1 in the back.

Got my best fish of the year (so far) today. Nice 22" vina. Knew it was a vamp when it went nuts on the surface. Fly fell out of its mouth at shore. Also tagged my first midshipman and smallest halibut.

Saw a bunch of monster carp in the shallows at San V on Monday cruising the brush! They were back in the old chimney area.
