We got a full 14 hour day in on Sunday. A great day with 46 between us (you know, the same number that some of you catch individually when you haul your fancy kayaks out of the water by 11am). :o

Well it was a toasty day on the lake yesterday. Reasonable at predawn of 70F. Unreasonable at a little after lunch at 107F in my truck, cooled down to 99F driving. At 0430 water temp was 78F. Without a moon, it was pretty dark at that time and the sun isn't really doing much until ...

Got out @4:30 with Steve, missing Dave this morning, surprisingly we were the only two at pigs. The water is down again since two weeks ago, headed to Becky’s and started picking them on popper and crawler. Sun came out and fish started busting everywhere, these were good size 2-3 lb on the spook ...

Good seeing you out there. Surprisingly the wind died down around noon and was manageable until we got off the water at 3. Might have stayed that way longer too. Overall the best fishing conditions we’ve had this summer.

Usual time with Dave and Steve, warm morning, bite was slow, could be because of the full moon or lower water. An occasional busters, but not like last week. Finally found an area back of Hauser which produced consistent popper, crawlers action. Most were averaging 2-3 lbs, ended with @40, left @1pm ...

Stunning day out there yesterday on my super tube. Picked up more than 1 fish trolling from one place to another,,,,,,they weighed in at 2.5 to over 3 lbs!! I cannot remember the number of years it has been where the busters averaged that size.
