Otay Yay!
Fished Lower Otay last Wednesday and had a decent day as far as numbers go. Water temps pushing over 79 degrees and pretty stained down the Harvey Arm. Lots of blowups right at the bank and we had most of our success with finesse like weightless Senko and Neko rigs. Decided to throw a jackhammer w ...

7/8 Miramar DD
Had a great day at Miramar yesterday. My buddy and I ended up with 30 fish total with a 4 and a 3.15# which we were pretty happy about. We lost 3 more that jumped at least once and were in that weight class. Also had a double hook-up which is always awesome! I can't remember a time when these fish ...

Re: 7/8 Miramar DD
Meant to include that all were caught on soft plastics. Tried maybe 10 other lures (jerk bait, Sammy, jack hammer, whopper plopper, mini-jig to name a few) with no bites other than on a small paddle tail SB tossed into a group of busting fish but it came unbuttoned.

Re: 7/8 Miramar DD
Thank you Vinny. I am embarrassed by the number of times we have fished this lake with nothing over 3#s. Since last year we have had much better fish and much better fights. Hopefully the days of this being the lake of the clones is over. Always good to see your reports!!

Re: 7/8 Miramar DD
Thank you Vito....I actually pulled up to the spot and got a 2.15, 2.25 then a 3.15 and I thought to myself that staying paid off and planned to leave again. Glad I didn't as the big one came a few casts later.

Re: Lake Elsinore Wiper Bass
Thanks for posting the video. Great job out there. I always like trying new water. Been wanting to try that for years and will hit it soon. PS. Took my wife fishing once (she lasts about an hour) and right at dusk I hear "whoops" from the back of the boat. I turn around and she is no longer holding ...

Re: Miramar water level
Sorry, late quick post after a long day in the heat. We ended up with 16 fish (2 of us), largest being 2.9#. All were caught on various senkos on various techniques in various colors. We tried the flooded tules all over the lake with jigs, fat IKA and some worms but nothing. Even tossed some frogs ...

Re: Miramar - water level update
Was over at Murray this morning and it was nice meeting you in person @Jrod. Always fun
to meet fellow people that are on the site. Tight lines buddy :-)
Anyway......for those reading this, as of this morning, the boat ramp at Murray was open.
They removed the signs and tape blocking the ramp and ...
