It was a fun day at Lake Poway. I only fished for a couple of hours and only got 2 bites. Fortunately, the fish were 10.22lbs and 7.52lbs! So. Much. Fun! It's been a few years since I got a DD and the feeling never gets old. Both were bed fish that I caught on jigs. I have a feeling this ...

Managed to pull 8 fatties out of The Captain today on BFS gear. Nothing under 2 and nothing over 3, but they were feisty.

Finally got my new to me kayak out to the water. The day didn't start off great as a buried a treble hook just passed the barb into my finger. Luckily was able to get it out and keep on going!
