Born and lived in San Diego all my life and normally root against any team that plays in LA, but still somehow I am a Charger fan. I have missed fishing the local beaches lately, so I made a quick trip to Seal Beach with a few blood worms... There was a lot of eel grass to contend with, but did manage a decent corbina and calico... A small corb and two dink sand bass... Nothing huge but a fun day... And I managed to get that it...

We did our yearly trip to Tulum Mexico... We meet a bunch of friends down there every year and it's not a fishing trip... I fish an hour or less, some days, while my bride lounges under a palapa... This area is getting more devoid of sea life every year... They are constantly cleaning up the sagassu...

I know the Padres didn't live up to expectations, but there is some other baseball being played... Starting today with the wildcard rounds.. Who's picking who, and not giving a chance to other whos??? Of course, I hoping for a Dodger championship, but I know a lot of you San Diego fans are hoping fo...

I’ve been out in the desert camping, so I missed both games… Looking forward to tonight’s game… I’m with you in that I don’t have a real favorite, but maybe rooting for The D-Backs, just because they are in our division.. And I’m a National League guy too…. I hope it goes 7..

Guess I'm weird... My wife always puts the candy corn out around Halloween, and every time I go by, I pop a few in my mouth... I get addicted to them.... No one else in the family likes them, not even my wife (Who buys and puts them out)... She needs to stop buying them.

Grandson called me Friday night and asked If I'd like to do a little surf fishing with him and his buddy... His buddy is a fisherman but hadn't surf fished since he was younger... My Grandson supplied all of the gear for him to use... We decided on fishing the inside and outside of Alamitos Peninsul...
