Otay 2/9

Went to Otay Sunday and it was the first time on the water since November 1st so I was just excited to be out on the water as far as the fishing it was a little slow for me only managed one to hand and lost a few saw alot of followers on the scope with reaction baits but no one wanted to commit ...

That is quite an adventure you went through starting from Lake Murray being closed and then going to the bay and all the stuff that happened in between. I would be exhausted after all of that. I could feel your pain through every sentence you wrote. Strange to see a saltwater bass in the freshwater ...

Get a pair of keeper straps like https://www.amazon.com/Kicker-Keepers-Tether-Outcast-Sporting/dp/B00EU8RD6M or make your own. I had a buddy tell me to do that when I 1st started tubing, he said it was awful when you lose a fin. Never had a fin come loose yet though.

The CDFW App is pretty darn handy. Your current licenses are right there in the app, and you can even buy or renew through it. Your license will automatically populate in the app and they send you the hard copy in the mail. Pretty handy if you forget your paper license, just open the app and show it ...
