I followed the active school for 2 days. When it rains, it pours.

Dang.. i should went to Otay instead of Miramar

The last time I fished was 14 days ago, which to me is a lifetime! Been pretty sick and took a while to recover(some weird stomach virus) and even lost 8 pounds. Finally able to start eating better and just when I was thinking of getting back out on the water, I suddenly found myself limping around ...

Nobody catches fish off of a pier...except Vinnybass!

That made me laugh because even if he tried to tape record all I said.....he would have ran out of tape and if he tried to write things down, the pen would probably run out of ink ... ha ha

Spun the wheel of fishing choices and Miramar came back up. I was excited to get back on those early morning breakers. Rods rigged with the right baits and alarm set for 430 am. Boom.. Partner got to my house 515 am. and at the lake by 540 am. Only two float tubers at the ramp and took a bit of time ...

I finally got back to San V on my favorite day! Along with Murray, San V is probably where I've spent most of my years fishing...starting back in the 60s. I got to the lake at sunrise, headed out looking for some busters and soon found some on the main lake behind the island. They were spread out ...
