Cap the 4th

More toad fishing at cap this morning w my dad on yak got there early started north side dam finger was getting blowups but not near as many only landed 1 in couple hours we missed quite a few but they weren’t really that aggressive did have one knock my bait 2 feet in the air and he jumped 3 ft was ...

I like the way you did your photos in groups of 3. Very convenient for the viewing public=D
I bet the bass 100% thought they were hitting a nice bluegill when they saw the fat senko.

That’s interesting ty for the feedback I may try soaking some in juice see if that helps yeah I learned u need to have a good hookset w toads my dad kept trying to do a short quick hookset missed em 👍🎣

Ive been on that horny toad bite at otay lately, so much fun. Took a hike at loveland and stuck 5 out there on the horny toad as well. Glad someone else is getting in on the fun! Hope you got em at otay, saturday afternoon was a little slower than it has been but the big ones were out, lost a 5ish ...

Summertime night bassin

Couldn’t help myself went to my fav spot and pulled a 6.22 lber on black beaver this is my 4th trip in a row where I caught a 5.95 6.13 and dropped another fell back in was bummed or I’d have the 4th pic nothing beats a drag ripper in the dark 🎣👍🤷‍♂️

Great job Dan yeah was def slower for me on Mon with toad back to bottom I guess I hope this after the heat wave topwater will improve I’m saying their regrouping 🎣👍

Thanks for the report, I was out there Monday evening and got a few on the buzz frog but that bite is basically dead now. Spent hours casting the bank for 3 measly clones lol. Got a dink on drop shot and had to head for the launch. The iron ranger had a note that said exit time was 7:20 but I ...

My son works for helix and says they put it in and it's to get the water to turn over. They are going to do a lot more aeration at Jennings as they are going to be piping in treated water and want it to flow around the lake.
