Cuyamaca Oct 30
I just wanted to share a picture of the fish I caught at Cuyamaca on Thursday. The lake is really low. Even in the middle it is only 10 feet and it was hard to locate any structure. However it was an absolutely beautiful day and had a great time cruising around the lake watching eagles, deer, and ...

Re: El Cap Nov 2 report
Always such a pleasure to be out there fishing with you fine gents. My final count was 5 on a combination of topwater and jigs. It certainly was a beautiful day.

Murray 11/4
Fun day at the Murr today. Nothing big, but final count was 9. They seemed really pissed off today, fighting like crazy on my BFS gear, so even without that DD it was still a lot of fun.

I can't tell if you are being sarcastic, but I will if you want. I didn't know if people were even reading posts in that section.

Murray Baits 12/4 and 5
I've told you about this rig before, but they liked it with a TRD craw the last couple of days instead of my usual TRD or Crush City Ned baits. This has accounted for more than half my fish total both days.

Re: Online Tackle Stores
Appreciate the info. I haven’t used AliExpress yet. Can you (or another member) provide names of trusted sellers? Thanks man!
Tsurinoya. The products work and they have shipped quickly. Don't just take my word for it though, several other members have used them on my recommendation a couple of ...

Murray 11/20
I haven't posted for a while so I figured I should let you know I'm still kickin'.
Murray has been a little tough the last couple of weeks. I've been averaging around 5-6 fish per day, but they've all been dinks and clones so I've mostly been foregoing pictures.

Re: Murray 11/20
Glad you're still Kicking!
Nice job, looks like fun. BFS Right? =D
I'd call it more a combination of BFS and power BFS. Some came on a Dobyns Sierra rod with a small Megabass Griffon crank bait. But most came on my Trika 6x medium rod throwing a 3/16 jig with a 2.5 inch Yum chunk trailer, so I ...

El Capitan Nov.23
Had a fun morning at the Cap with Early release , CorsoEnthusiast , and Pourboy . I only caught 3 includingnone swimbait fish, and a couple on topwater Gunfish. Jeremy did the best of all of us, and held down the fort with around 7 I believe. He put on a Neko rig clinic.

Re: Lower Otay Bank Fishing - 11/23/25
While you can get away with swim trunks in the ocean in the summer months, all the city lakes require waders and no direct water contact, but I agree, a float tube will change your life as far as fishing goes. So little shore is available in a lot of our lakes in comparison to getting on the water.

Re: El Capitan Nov.23
Yes a little bit anyway. Water temp was in the low 60s when we first got on the water. It climbed a few degrees later in the day.KillinTime wrote: Mon Nov 24, 2025 7:41 pm Late season topwater. Way to go! How's the grass there dying off yet?

Re: El Capitan Nov.23
This is my tube. Chris's model is the newest one Float Plus makes, and an upgrade over mine. Both models are awesome. Really thought out and intelligently designed. Mine took a bit of getting used to at first, but after having it for several months, I really love it.
