Another one (youtube) went up after this weekend. Maybe time for the admins to step in. The group here is looking for helpful intel, not videos begging for views or bragging stories.
As a barrett regular i agree with you brotha .... I usually just tell they don't mike long yourself lol..also catching 100 fish a day is doable last month david and I diff had about 100 fish each but not all we keepers, unless its on video, picture, or somebody well known says it I dont really ...
Yea I know that for me (us), we all use separate golf click counters and we don’t “click” off, till it’s lipped. I see others saying “oh, about xx#’s”, that means they’re guessing at best. I discount their claims right off the bat!
Before we started to use the clickers, we know it’s very easy to ...
My 1st time at barret was a few years ago during opening month .. and I was only able to land 7 bass(biggest about 2lbs) the next few times I only landed 10-15 fish a trip (all day) I remember saying to myself "why all the hype " and ''there's no way people catch 100 fish a day".... fast forward ...
I try to post a report every time I go to Barrett. I do it, just to share the information with a bunch of people who I have gotten to know through this site and when I do, I hope it is helpful to others. Those people who see me on the water, know that I'll share what's working, if I have a pattern ...
Fishing it in the 80s back in high school days, everyday was a 100 fish day. That really does not count as the lake was closed to fishing. During the Lottery Days there were a couple of hundred fish days for me right in the beginning. As time progress with fishing pressure counts got much lower ...
Its possible and I have legitimately clicked each one but let me tell you it takes the whole day of seriously wide-open fishing to actually get to 100. It’s not possible with most baits so keep that in mind. You’re not catching 100 on a senko the time it takes to sink a senko prohibits this.
Got to the lake at midnight and already 8 cars in front of me. The launch at pigs was smooth do to the high water. Parking was limited, don’t go pass the bathroom cause there’s no room to back up. To the fishing, the lake is unrecognizable, water level looks full, the island towards Hauser isn’t ...
Great to be back at the Big B in 2023. Good thing we had our rain gear on as it came down loading the boat and the ride down Hauser. Between it being dark, raining and the super full lake we couldn’t find our old spots. When it got light I started with the spinner bait for nada. Switched to the ...
Certainly not the Big B of old but still fun. Like a whole new lake with the level near full. All my spots of the previous years gone and replaced by new great looking zones. Took a while to find any numbers but they are there. Small plastics and senkos were working early. Angry slab bluegill ...
This was one of those days that we all been waiting for. I stopped at 50 bass, ALL on top water! By 9:30 I had 25, then found an area where they were chasing bait/shad and it was on. I used every top water bait I had and all worked, but the crawler caught the most. Had to leave at noon, left them ...
First I’d like to thank Dave G and Laurie for helping set this up. I have been fishing with Tony for a few months, he has Stage 4 Lung Cancer and needed some time on the water. I have been fishing Newport Bay with him, kind of training him to fish for Largemouth Bass. The skills you learn from ...
Headed out to Big B on Saturday a lot of kayakers out there and me and my daughter found a school of bait fish and schools of bass at the chomp. We ended up with about 50 or so between the both of us.we had an awesome time and it was her first time on the kajak so that was awesome. All on topwater ...
Hey brother we did awesome it was a slow start but we got to the back of a cove and that’s when the magic happened. All on the whopper plopper. Thank you for helping my daughter when we launched. And I’ll be out there on Saturday again hope to see you there brother.!
