Noice Vinny!

Well, I certainly don't have Miramar all figured out like VinnyBass , and Pourboy , or the rest of you pros. I managed 6 fish over 7 hours, but all were clones, and man I really had to work to get them.

I got no love at all on cranks, jerks, flukes, frogs, or anything that swims. All 6 fish came on ...

Ive been on that horny toad bite at otay lately, so much fun. Took a hike at loveland and stuck 5 out there on the horny toad as well. Glad someone else is getting in on the fun! I've been seeing all your posts about the El Cap bite. I decided to give it a try. I managed a mere 6 clones in 7 hours. All of them looked pretty much like the one in the picture. Musta come from the same litter.

Took the float tube out at Murray today 8/07 from about 9-1. Saw lots of busting fish when I first got my tube in the water and caught two Dinks on a small paddle tail. Had my flipping stick so I decided to go flip the tullies for the next few hours for nada. It was a fun few hours.

Went to El Cap today, pay at the gate early. Many others there also. I knew going in I could even get skunked. No top water bites, no chatter bait bites. Some of the bigger fish are starting to hit topwater walking baits at the Murr. I caught 6 early morning TW fish then it basically shut down. I picked up a few more on a jig pitching the edge of the tules and points. Total was 9, with the biggest going 4.1.
