Trying not to bore everyone with a fish report that turns into a novel, I decided to
keep it a little bit shorter and simple. Enjoy! :-)

Fished Murray(yeah, that lake) under cooler and windy conditions
Bass were on the chew... despite 6 or so bass coming unbuttoned, was still able to land ...

...12 lb mono. ... and it felt like a really nice bass as it headed deep in the cover and the line snapped!

Are you sure you didn't have a nick in the line? Did it get you into hard cover?

Usually mono is stretchier than FC which I guess technically makes it more impact ...

They don't call straight braid "Kelp Cutters" for no reason. I totally understand were you are coming from. We fishermen are optimists by nature.
