Mostly lots of dinks and clones out there is what I been running into also Dan. Always fun to catch one a little bigger
one which often in comparison to the others seems to be even bigger than what is rally is.
Thanks for sharing and hope to see you out there soon. Tight lines always buddy
Dang, you had a super good.......I mean Super Great Day! I was happy that I stopped by the lake a few times to look around and saw you out there in the distance with splashing around you. I was hoping it was just birds(just kidding!)Then later stopped by after lunch and was lucky to catch you before ...
Fish #2 looks like it healed from a nice injury in the past.
I have caught bass there that have definitely been caught before with battle injuries around the mouth. All I know is most of them are pretty tough as despite their injuries, they are still eating. It is funny that some of the bass ...
Congrats on a great day. I caught my first trout out of Murray on the then fishing dock 2 1/4 lbs in the 60's on a velveeta ball.
I remember those days using velveeta but I used to use those tiny marshmallows on a treble hook and catch trout back then also. Did not stay on your hook long but ...

Gotta gave tullies first Vinny, there is none at this time due to low water
Thanks for letting me know. Have not been there for a long time and remember years ago when the water was low as heck and the water level at the tulles was about 2' or less and could not believe I still caught bass ...
My prayers go out to you for your wife and for you to be strong throughout this stressful time.
Hopefully all will be well and both of you can clear your minds and get back to less stressful things.
Best wishes and tight lines always my friend.
I got on the water at 5:30. In the summer months I am not dropping the kids off at school everyday, so I do get on the water earlier albeit less frequently. They'll be seniors next year, which is hard to believe.
Anyway I saw @VinnyBass out there on his electronics-free kayak doing his Vinny ...
What can I say but congratulations on a fantastic day out there! Those were some fine bass you caught. Here most of us were just waiting out there for the topwater bite to happen and we waited and we waited and it never happened, while you wasted no time catching bass with the jig. That 6lb bass ...
In years of high water, the south end has been very good to me. I caught my largest personal best at Cuyamaca, but it was way back at the end of June in 2009. I caught a 12 lb bass on a Senko just as a thunderstorm began. It was possible back in those days, to catch numbers and quality, but you ...
Fridays are Geezer day at D.K.....only 65's and up! I broke my number one rule Friday, don't try to make fish do something they don't want to do! I wasted 3 hours trying to make the topwater happen like it did 2 weeks ago..stupid! I missed the best hours for the bottom bite! It was definitely ...
I was out there as well, can't believe I didn't see you. Would have loved to meet you all. Im pretty sure I seen mcfish and maybe Vinny, im not sure ive never meet either before. I was the guy with the trailer and the nucanoe. I fished the dam side til around 1 then hit the right of the launch ...
I did originally started with a couple strips of black gorilla tape, but the cement ramps and fishing often pretty much tore into it, so I just bought a Berley Pro keel guard for my PA 12 and so far it’s been great.
Headed over to Murray and joined by my buddy Joe for a little morning session. The bass are there, but up and down so fast off the surface that it has been very challenging. Actually it is frustrating especially when you land you bait right next to or on top where a bass just jumped and no takers ...
Fished Miramar almost every weekend with my dad starting in the early 70s. I always remember walking along the shore and fishing between the tulles because there was a lot of space back then to fish from shore. When we threw plastic worms, we always put a split shot up the line so that the worm ...
