Re: From Murray to Hodges 8/22 and 8/23
Great job Dan. Good move making a positive fishing trip at Murray after finding out that Otay was slammed with a tournament. Looks like you also had fun fishing up at Hodges and you were in great company with some great guys at both lakes.

3/24 Live by the Sword, Die by the.....
Despite a pretty dang good fishing trip to Murray recently, the bass this morning put on the brakes or should I say slammed on the brakes. I stubbornly stuck to using all sorts of reaction baits and the bass just were not cooperating. It reminded me of that old saying.... "Live by the sword, die by ...

Re: 3/24 Live by the Sword, Die by the.....
Crazy day at the Murr! Weather felt like summer, water temp said spring, and the bite was part fall, mixed with some prespawn and post spawn! I watched Vinny get a nice 4lber..and then I proceeded to lose a nice 4 on the jump and soon after had a larger fish come unbuttoned..aaarrgghhhhhh! I set ...

3/26 SD River
Woke up this morning and there was a light rain. I wanted to go fishing, but just sat there drinking coffee. But even though it was a late morning start, I grabbed some rain gear and headed down to the SD River. I figured I could rough it for a few hours as it was not pouring or anything.
The water ...

Re: 3/26 SD River
I haven’t been throwing the Tokyo rig too much at Lake Murray, but I have used it at the river off and on and that is what I used today with the brush hog.
I usually rig the Junebug colored brush hog Texas style with a little sinker stop not far from the weight. I think most of my bigger fish last ...

Re: 3/26 SD River
I’ve said it before, you’re the man.
Do you buy lottery tickets, if not you should I’ll give you the money for the tickets, we can split the winnings.
Just kidding you’re not lucky, you’ve got skill.
Sometimes a little luck happens and other times you are just able to entice a bass to bite just ...

Re: Double Digit Bass! 2 Bites, 2 Big fish
So just FYI, I took down the video from Youtube. I didn't realize at the time or when I posted that there are no longer boats allowed in Hidden Bay. It hasn't always been like that and the sign is in the middle of the bay and I was so focused on looking for fish I didn't see it. I am a rule ...

Re: FOUND rod and reel set up
Not an April fools.
Found a rod and reel set up. Describe it and tell me where you last saw it and I'll try my best to get it back to you.
Hey skrilla ...just want to say thank you for putting it out there when many would just keep what they
found and stay quiet. You are a good guy doing that ...

4/4- Murray
Been over a week since I fished last so I decided to hit Murray. I had thought of going up to the Lake of D & K, but a cold weather forecast up there helped change my mind. Too stubborn to fish the tulles I searched and searched for shad balls and wasted a lot of fishing time. Hours went by and not ...

4/8-Back to SD River
The weather is heating up and before it gets too hot later in the week, I headed to the SD River this morning. No need to rush, as it seems most of the bass I caught at the river ain't until later morning. I recently scanned over time stamps on numerous photos taken here and at Murray of healthier ...

Nice healthy bass you got there is that a red plum blue flake color? That color hits this time around ....
I bought a bunch of Bass Pro Shop Crack Craws many years ago. I have an assortment of colors and yes that one is kind of a plum color with blue flakes. The craws used to be a great bait ...
